Voila, the Winning Photo!

Congratulations to Nadia Todres, who is the Community Choice winner of the Women's Refugee Commission's Envisioning Safe Livelihoods photo contest.
"Garden Tender" depicts a woman in her garden, in Leogane, Haiti–as part of a BRAC initiative. The vegetables she grows are used to feed the people in her community. The photo was taken in January of 2011, one year after the earthquake.
The contest was part of the "Peril or Protection: Making Work Safe" campaign, which makes the connection between building safe livelihoods and gender-based violence prevention.
Thanks to the 857 people who voted and the 59 photographers who submitted great photos!
Virginia Williams was director of the campaign.
